YouTube star and KSI coach Viddal Riley overtakes Willbeforce Shihepo in six-round shutout for fifth straight win
VIDDAL RILEY — the social media sensation who rose to prominence coaching KSI for his mega-money boxing career — went 5-0 on Saturday night.
On his UK debut, 24-year-old heavyweight Hackney – a bona fide and decorated amateur – beat Willbeforce Shihepo on the Amir Khan undercard against Kell Brook.
Riley, who has also released rap songs on the back of his YouTuber workout exploits, made a dream start to his UK arc and never let his rival off the hook.
The referee who scored called the one-sided shutout in six rounds: 60-53.
He said: “It’s so good to finally fight in the UK so I want to thank everyone for making this possible.
“I almost stopped him, but he’s a tough man.
“I was also out of the ring, due to injuries and covid, for two years, so it was nice to box all six rounds.
“I just want to be really busy now.”

After two minutes of punching and probing the veteran, Riley blasted a perfect right uppercut that flattened Shihepo.
The multi-talented ace produced a nice pull-and-counter that sank the Namibian to the canvas for an eight count.
The Black Mamba got back to his feet and fought by Riley was in his rhythm and connecting at will.
The Manchester crowd was ‘ooh and aahing’ in the second as Riley unloaded raspy combinations into his body and guard.
Shihepo was almost down again when a right hook from Riley found his whiskers vulnerable.
In the third, Riley nearly gave star student KSI the knockout victory he had been asking for.
But battle-worn Shihepo wanted to earn every penny of his purse and refused to hide, despite the beatings.

The novelty of seeing Shihepo getting tagged wore off in the fifth but Riley didn’t rush his search for a save.
But when Riley’s corner urged him to let go of his hands, he stepped on the gas and punished his opponent, letting blood pour from his nose and mouth.
The tough African however heard the final bell, shipping abuse until the final blow of the battle.
